Parish Priest
Father Mehall was born in north London to Irish parents. He was blessed with a loving family and experienced a good faith community of parish, school and home. After a short career as a Police Officer he entered Allen Hall Seminary. He was Ordained in 1991, by Cardinal George Basil Hume. He has served in the Parishes of White City, Upper Holloway, Harrow Road, North Harrow, Parsons Green and now as Parish Priest of St. Monica's Palmers Green. God's love is revealed amongst the people he has met and he believes he has been truly blessed. He was made Canon at Westminster Cathedral in September 2021.

Assistant Priest
Fr Sean was ordained to the priesthood on 28th June 2025, feast of St John Southworth, by Cardinal Nichols, joining the parish of St Monica’s in September as his first appointment after ordination. Prior to coming to St Monica’s Fr Sean was at Our Lady and St Vincent’s Potters Bar working fulltime as a deacon. He studied for the priesthood at both the English College in Rome and Allen Hall seminary, and prior to joining the diocese of Westminster worked as a professional fundraiser.
Sister Joyce Dionne
Parish Sister
Sister Joyce was born in Canada where she grew up and was educated, finalising her education with a degree from the University of Ottawa. It was in 1948 that she pronounced her First Vows as a Daughter of Providence. She was a teacher in Canada for 18 years before coming to London, where she taught for another 24 years. Her main subject was French, which she taught at Holy Family, Enfield. Since 1996 she has been Parish Sister at St Monica’s, working especially with the sick and housebound as well as the Ministers of the Word and Ministers of the Eucharist. It has been a privilege and a blessing for her to serve the people of St Monica’s. God is good.
Anna McMullan
Youth PROGRAMME Co-Ordinator
Anna grew up in Whetstone and went to St. Michael’s, North Finchley before starting work at NatWest Bank. She left permanent employment after 11 years and did some travelling, a couple of diplomas in anatomy, physiology & massage and co-ordinated the At Your Word Lord faith-sharing programme in Our Lady of Lourdes, New Southgate (her parish). In 2005, she became the RE Co-ordinator at St. Matthew’s, Northwood. After walking the Camino de Santiago in 2011, she decided to follow the call to work more with young people resulting in joining St Monica’s in August 2012 as the Youth Programme Co-ordinator. Anna plays the guitar, enjoys crafts, has a motorcycle licence (in storage) and is known to walk or cyle to work.
