At the end of their plenary meeting in Leeds last week, the Bishops of England and Wales issued a statement in connection with the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, to be debated in the House of Commons this month. The Cardinal has asked that we distribute this statement entitled ‘Be Compassionate‘ to the parish. I commend it to you for reading and prayer.
